Was anyone aware that vodka can freeze? I've got Absolut lemon-lime slush in my freezer. That's an oddity. Luckily, I've got a room-temperature backup.
Look on the bottle. If it says eighty proof it shouldn't freeze. I have a bottle of eighty proof Russian vodka in the "quick freeze" section of my freezer and no slush. It's been in there for a couple of weeks.
What is the proof on that bottle?

ynh: The vodka is 70 proof. I've never had this happen before. Just like a thick Slurpee.
Egan: Within the last week, I've tried on every blogger template. I wish I saw a TMBG one. Maybe I'll figure out how to make one. For the time being, the lighthouses are calming.
Well, I guess liquor has to be eighty proof before it won't freeze. Another helpful hint for the kids.
